AI and GPUs are an opportunity to flood the market with a wider array of products, a shift that historically empowers women's economic participation.

The most significant change? Automation will redefine the workday. Machines will handle the heavy lifting, freeing up employees to focus on quality control and error prevention.

But will human workers still be essential? Absolutely. The core dynamics of investors seeking returns, management ensuring quality, and customers demanding value will remain unchanged. Women are well-positioned to excel in all these areas.

Can the traditional 40-hour workweek become obsolete? Unlikely. Historically, unpaid family work wasn't factored into GDP. While women's time with young children was considered family time, people will likely work more if extra hours translate to more income, balanced by family needs and the need for rest.

Shorter workweeks tend to emerge when individuals have stable, salaried positions. When personal projects like homeownership or administrative tasks demand time, and especially when work is stressful, shorter workweeks become more appealing.

AI-driven flexibility can empower women in the workforce. Expect to see a common pattern of setting aside specific times to review AI's output and intervene when necessary. AI isn't necessarily a job taker. It requires customers, including women, to embrace a mindset of savings and cost-consciousness to expand product reach and create more jobs.

Women's leadership has emerged from the historical challenges of family dynamics and corporate cultures that favored men. The traditional image of the long-term leader, rewarded for loyalty and acting as a paternal figure, is fading. This shift creates opportunities for traditionally underrepresented groups based on gender, ethnicity, or disability.

The "loyal, long-term leader" model often clashed with family planning. Aggressive strategies often put stress on families, and long hours and team-building activities sometimes tried to replace family time. This approach has its limits, as conflicting priorities can lead to personal strain. Moreover, rigid corporate strategies are vulnerable to disruption by agile startups. The shift of software products to the cloud by successful conglomerates exemplifies this, transforming software from a demanding capital asset to a service.

Certain decisions can foster minority leadership. Focusing on individual needs can reduce stress. Group decisions can devolve into debates about quotas and resource allocation, creating more problems than solutions. Randomly forming diverse teams can create opportunities for employees to find roles that fit their lifestyles. My advice to leaders for success: never intimidate an individual in the name of a group, basic human and civil rights have been in place for decades.

AI will empower individual workers, acting as the mortar between people. By facilitating communication through translation, review, and conflict resolution, AI can help build a better workplace. LLMs can also help eliminate poorly considered decisions.

Our advice for women leaders for efficiency and stress reduction: create a competition between AI and people. Use both to cross-check each other in hiring decisions, leveraging the best option to save time and money. Having options allows for quick intervention when problems arise.
